Children’s Art Class
Apr 4th
Do your kids love art? Then this fun art class is a perfect gift!
ERUUF member Kat Benson is Art Director and the head art teacher of Explore Creative Learning Center in Raleigh. She will come to your house and give your child(ren) and up to 10 of their friends a fun hour-long art lesson. She will bring all the art supplies, if you can provide enough chairs and tables for the kids.
Your children create a work of art in a step-by-step manner and will be shown how to render outlines and blend their color with a professional medium like oil pastels. Our approach leads kids to produce wonderful, representational pictures that are typically beyond developmental level.

An Hour With a Pony
Mar 22nd
His name is Pro. He’s actually 1″ taller than a regulation-sized pony, but he’s very sweet, likes to be brushed and kissed on the nose and he loves carrots. Pro lives with his owner, Kate, in Rougemont. When you bring your child to see Pro, Kate will teach your child how to brush him, talk facts about what horses eat and what it’s like to own a horse, basic horse facts. She will also teach him/her how to lead him around, etc.
